PwC Corporate Finance can act as a link between the JSE Limited (JSE) and listed companies. We are registered as a JSE Limited accredited sponsor and a designated Adviser to the Alternative Exchange (“Altx”).

We provide corporate finance and regulatory advice to companies that are listed or contemplating a listing on the Main Board of the JSE or on Altx. As a sponsor, alongside your corporate adviser, we provide advice on markets/exchanges, regulatory authorities and issues and project management of transactions.

We remain independent from trading, equity analysts, lending and private equity activities, thus being favorably positioned regarding truly independent advice.
We are also able to leverage off our vast regional and international network.

• Regulatory and Statutory advice
• Constant advice to directors and company secretaries on:
  - the Listing Requirements of the JSE
  - the Securities Regulation Panel Rules and Code
  - Companies Act
  - Corporate Governance
• Transaction support
• Drafting of all required documentation for the regulatory environment
• A communication channel between our clients and the JSE
• Management of the continuing obligations of a listed company by way of a dedicated sponsor desk

• Advice on the most appropriate market/exchanges for capital raising

• Timing and tactics
• Preparation of prospectus and investor presentations
• Liaising with regulatory authorities on all regulatory issues
