COP17 and what it means for business

The United Nations Climate Change Conference in Durban brought together representatives of the world’s governments, international organisations and civil society. The discussions sought to advance the implementation of the Convention and the Kyoto Protocol, as well as other plans and agreements reached at previous COP conferences. This article aims to answer frequently asked questions about the conference as well as explain some key climate change terms.
