Private Company webinar series 2021
Date: Thursday, 22 April 2021
Time: 10am - 11am
This webinar marks the launch of PwCās Africa Family Business Survey - āFrom trust to impact: Why family businesses need to act now to ensure their legacy tomorrowā. The report reveals the current thinking - and future outlook - of 231 family business leaders across 13 territories in Africa. Findings show that reliance on values and legacy is no longer enough to propel the business forward. Tomorrowās family business requires a new approach for lasting success - one based on accelerated digital transformation, prioritisation of sustainability goals, and professional family governance. Succession planning still remains one of the single most important and problematic issues in family businesses, which should be addressed sooner rather than later.
Our PwC hosts will be joined by Vimal Shah, Chairperson of Bidco Africa, Patricia Cook, Chairperson of Bracken Timbers, and other prominent family business leaders to discuss takeaways from the survey and share their views and calls for action.
