PwC at World Tour Essentials Johannesburg

Rofhiwa Nevhutalu Senior Manager | Alliances Marketing, PwC South Africa

The South African edition of Salesforce World Tour Essentials took place in Johannesburg on Wednesday, 14 June, at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. This event provided a platform for current, new, and potential customers and partners to explore Salesforce's latest initiatives and gain insights into the company's future plans for South Africa and the wider African continent.

PwC South Africa was again an Emerald sponsor. We stationed a customised booth with a fully immersive experience to give participants a taste of the depth and breadth of our capabilities. Jesse Twum-Boafo, PwC's Salesforce Practice Leader for Africa, kicked off the Partner keynote by highlighting our significant contributions in helping clients realise the outcomes of their transformation journey by leveraging Salesforce's technology offering.

Isabel Papadakis, Partner and Alliance Program Lead, shared her insights on "Ensuring value in digital transformation," stressing the importance of organisations to align their ambitious visions on transforming customer and employee experiences with the necessary capabilities to execute.  The importance of industry platforms and strategies to ensure these platforms are fueled by the right data were highlighted as critical elements for success.

PwC South Africa was honoured with the first Salesforce Community Impact award - a key highlight of the event. We are humbled and grateful for this recognition.
