When you register for a training event presented by PricewaterhouseCoopers Incorporated. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and your registration for our events (including but not limited to virtual, hybrid, and in-person events) presented by PricewaterhouseCoopers Incorporated.
Registration: To register for an event, you must complete the registration process on our website. Registration may be for paid or unpaid events, and for virtual, hybrid, or in-person formats.
Submission Confirmation: Once you have submitted your registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Your registration is considered confirmed once you receive this email.
Payment Terms: For paid events, payment is required prior to the event date. You will receive an invoice for the event registration fee between 7 to 14 calendar days after your registration submission. The invoice must be settled within the timeframe specified on the invoice.
If you wish to cancel your registration, please notify us in writing at least 10 calendar days before the event date.
Cancellation Fees:
More than 5 calendar days before the event: Your payment will be applied to future training registrations.
Less than 5 calendar days before the event: No refund will be issued.
Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any event. In the event of cancellation, we will offer you a full refund or an alternative date for the event.
Changes to Event Details: We reserve the right to make changes to the event details, including but not limited to date, time, and format. We will notify you of any significant changes as soon as possible.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your registration for or participation in an event.
Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure to fulfill our obligations under these Terms if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Training content: The training content or responses to questions asked during the training does not constitute professional advice provided by PwC. We do not represent that or warrant the accuracy or completeness of the training content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PwC, its members, partners, directors or employees do not accept or assume any liability, responsibility or duty of care to you or anyone else for any consequences of you or anyone else acting, or refraining to act, in reliance on the information contained in any training or for any decision based on it.
Privacy: We will collect and use your personal information for invoicing purposes only. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Statement.
Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of our website or registration for events after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
