We offer a great training ground for you to learn about financial institutions, retail banking, investment banking, IT auditing and regulatory audits. This ensures that we are all well-rounded individuals, even though one’s portfolio may not include all these types of clients. With only four to six clients a year, you have the opportunity to spend significant time with your clients, understand them in depth and build a network of professional relationships.
The dynamic PwC Western Cape region is our second largest region, comprising our Cape Town, Robertson, Stellenbosch and Worcester offices, each of which offers exciting opportunities. Within our region we service a large number of large listed and private clients, offering a balanced work experience for our teams.
Cape Town office - With an unobscured view of table mountain and docked cruise liners, our Cape Town office is located at the bustling Silo district at the V&A Waterfront surrounded by restaurants, art galleries, upmarket hotels and other attractions. As a training office we offer opportunities in our Financial Services and CTOne groups as well as unique opportunities within our Digital Trust team.
Financial Services - We provide independent assurance services to many of the world’s largest and most prestigious financial services companies. The core specialisations of the Financial Services industry are asset and wealth management, insurance, retirement funds, medical aids, investment management including hedge funds, and banking and capital markets.
CTOne is our non - FS practice housing our Consumer and Industrial Products and Services (CIPS) and Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) clients. Within these focussed industries, our client base includes the Retail, Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Hotel industries, thus broadening the depth of work experience for our people.
Stellenbosch office - our Stellenbosch office has recently moved to the state of the art Trumali Forum building in close proximity to the agri lifeblood of the Western Cape. On the doorstep of a number of world renowned vineyards and orchards, our clients specialise in the FMCG, Education, Agri and Medical industries. We have a large private client base where we play a critical trusted business advisor relationship to our clients.
Boland offices - our Boland offices are located in Worcester and Robertson - Within these offices you have the opportunity to grow into a well-balanced individual with experience in not only assurance but also accounting, taxation and other services, as well as a variety of entity types, industries and sectors.

Limpopo
Help us centralise, standardise and automate audit processes by joining the African Audit Centre of Excellence (CoE). Our team supports audit delivery in less complex and judgmental sections of our audit engagements. These sections include bank and cash; accounts payable; accounts receivable; property, plant and equipment, and payroll. The CoE team is an extension of the audit team but works virtually. The Audit CoE may contact the client directly and exercise judgement as we build trust in the auditing profession.
You will work on clients across all our groups. We cover Consumer and Industrial Products and Services (CIPS); Energy, Utilities and Resources (EU&R); Financial Services – Insurance and Investment Management (FSIIM); Financial Services – Banking and Capital Markets (B&CM); PwC Private, and Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT).
Our exposure cuts across the Southern African market. You will work on clients in African countries such as Namibia, Botswana and Zambia. You will broaden your network as you build your relationships across all industry groups. You will also be allocated to a second audit group for portions of the year.
You will help influence the future of the firm as we redesign the way we work. We work with Alteryx tools across the different sections, and you will play a large part in shaping the way we use technology to deliver sustained outcomes as a community of solvers.
You will become an expert in our sections, enhance your project management skills, and become part of a national team in Assurance.

Eastern Cape
PwC Eastern Cape provides opportunities to perform local assignments and remote international assignments from our Gqeberha and East London offices.
We work across a broad range of industries in our local market, which includes manufacturing, automotive, hospitality, agriculture and asset management. In partnership with PwC Channel Islands, PwC Switzerland, PwC Australia and PwC Cayman Islands we also assist their audit teams on a remote working basis.
We have a Service Delivery Centre (SDC Africa) in Gqeberha that provides support predominantly to PwC offices across Africa as well as to certain other territories. SDC Africa is a strategic investment of the PwC Africa firm and a core element of our Assurance transformation programme.

PwC’s North-East Region (NER) comprises our Emalahleni and Mbombela offices. In the North-East region we deal with all finance-related services, from audits and independent reviews to accounting services, including the compilation of financial statements, tax calculations and submissions, VAT, payroll and other compliance services relating to the Department of Labour.
Our client base is diverse, ranging from small to large private and listed companies.
