Our Sustainability and Climate Change team advises clients on their sustainability strategies and how to integrate them into their business models. We provide assurance on key sustainability performance indicators and also assist clients and statutory audit teams on matters related to safety, health and environment (SHE).
As an associate, you’ll complete a three-year graduate traineeship, gaining exposure to the different service offerings within Sustainability and Climate Change across a variety of clients in a range of industries.

You can expect to be challenged and stretched, some of your tasks may include:
- Economic impact assessments
- Investigating social return on investment
- Performing environmental accounting
- Conducting climate-change adaptation and mitigation
- Crafting strategies for sustainable development
- Financial provisioning for mine closure and rehabilitation and draft plans for asset retirement
- Managing occupational health and safety risk, performance and compliance
- Assessing environmental risk, performance and compliance
- Crafting integrated reports
What we look for
Graduates with a Bachelor of Social Science, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Arts degree (preferably with honours), with any of the following majors:
- Economics
- Accounting
- Social Sciences
- Environmental Science
- Environmental Accounting
- Business Administration
