SAP S/4HANA: Choosing between Private and Public Cloud

Whether you’re looking to run SAP S/4HANA in a Private or Public Cloud, we’ve got you covered

What are RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP?

SAP has announced that general maintenance for its older SAP ERP applications such as SAP ECC (ERP Central Component) or early SAP S/4HANA versions, will terminate between 2025 and 2027, with extended maintenance only available until 2025 to 2030 depending on the versions. If you’re among the companies still running one of these older versions of SAP ERP, then unless you switch to a different ERP solution altogether or decide to take sole responsibility of your applications, you will need to move to a more recent version of SAP S/4HANA.

If you intend to stay with SAP as your ERP software vendor, you have two main options:

1. Select RISE with SAP, SAP’s cloud ERP offering that combines SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition with embedded managed infrastructure services, built-in security and data protection.

Grow with SAP, Validated Partner logo

2. Select GROW with SAP, SAP’s multi tenant cloud ERP offering which is based on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP's software-as-a-service (Saas) ERP. Both versions also combine:

  • The SAP Business Technology Platform, which brings together application development, data and analytics, integration, automation and AI in one unified environment)
  • Cutting-edge solutions such as SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Learnings
  • Access to the SAP Community.

We can help you get the best value out of your investment in SAP, whichever option you choose.
