Overview
The past three months have seen dramatic changes in South Africa’s economic and political landscape. In the report “Investment decisions: Why South Africa, and why now?” PwC considers five scenarios for the country’s economic and political trajectory over the next five years.
This report firstly looks at the economic and political environment in the country on the road to the Nasrec conference, identifies strong fundamentals and positive factors for investment, and reflects on the appointment of the South African President and his plans for the future. The report also considers the possible future scenarios for South Africa over a five-year horizon (towards 2022).
