Protection of Personal Information Act (PoPIA)

PwC hosted a virtual event discussing what PoPIA means for companies, some key accelerators to fast-track implementation, and the ongoing management of those implementations.

Purpose

The session enabled senior leaders to have a peer-to-peer discussion on the current technology and business risks in the implementation of PoPIA, learnings from GDPR in other jurisdictions, and key considerations post the 1 July 2020 deadline. Kerin Wood, PwC Forensics partner, hosted the session and was joined by Robin Fisher, VP of Sales at Salesforce.
