The Independence, Conflicts and Ethics (ICE) Team housed in the Business Solutions Tower works alongside the UK Independence Team to address inquiries relating to personal independence and Checkpoint management to ensure that PwC, along with its partners, employees, third-party contractors and their immediate family members remain independent of PwC's audit clients and their affiliates.
With the use of the Checkpoint and Central Entity Service Systems, the Personal Independence team assesses whether financial arrangements owned by partners are permissible under PwC’s policies, ensuring that they do not conflict with independence regulations. With the assistance of the SATIC Innovation Hub, the ICE team aims to create a human-led, tech-powered Checkpoint partner support experience with the goal of providing quality driven engagement to partners and staff who require assistance with personal independence and Checkpoint inquiries.
