Join PwC to benefit from a three-year contract encompassing on-site training and valuable work experience, as you  work closely with IT  and the audit and risk functions to align business processes and risk to the business environment through identifying risks and recommending mitigating controls.

What you will do

You can expect to be challenged and stretched, some of your tasks may include:

  • Review financial and operational business process controls
  • Review IT general controls 
  • Perform infrastructure and database security reviews
  • Ensure compliance with other regulatory requirements
  • Perform due diligence on systems and controls
  • Perform pre- and post-implementation system reviews
  • Review computer security
  • Assess the privacy and protection of personal information
  • Work on outsourced and co-sourced internal audit engagements
  • Perform governance, risk and compliance reviews
  • Carry out performance audits and audits of predetermined objectives
  • Be involved in cybersecurity/IT audits/data analytics/SAP

 

What we look for

We’re looking for candidates with a degree, preferably an honours in:

  • IT (BSc or BCom)
  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Engineering
  • Mathematics
  • Management Accounting
  • Internal Auditing
  • Business Science
  • Risk Management
